Day-by-Day Itinerary

Morning leave for Indore from Margao railway station at 04.00 am

Early morning arrival at Indore. On arrival pick-up and proceed to Maheshwar for check-in into hotel (subjected to early check-in). Freshen-up and later proceed to visit Omkareshwar temple – one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva followed by a visit to Mamleshwar temple. Evening free time for shopping or leisure. Night halt Maheshwar.

Morning after breakfast check-out from hotel, visit Ahilya Fort – also know as maheshwar fort and proceed to Indore. On arrival at Indore visit Khajrana Ganesh Mandir, Shri Annapurna Temple. Later free time for shopping or leisure. Night halt Ujjain.

Early morning visit Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple for basma aarti at 4.00 am. Later proceed to hotel, freshen-up, have breakfast and check-out from hotel to visit Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, walk through Mahakal Corridor, Bharat mata temple, Kaal Bhairav Mandir, Harisiddhi mata temple – one of the 51 shaktipeeths of India. Evening ganga aarti at ram ghat. Later drop at Ujjain railway station to board train for hometown. Note: Those who wish to attend the Bhasma Aarti are required to book their slots directly through the official Bhasma Aarti website in advance.
